World’s largest fuel tanker arrives at SCLA
VICTORVILLE - In an effort to deliver more fuel in less time, Southern California Logistics Airport recently received the largest single truck fuel tanker ever manufactured.
Million Air General Manager Steve Mohror told the Daily Press the newest addition to his truck fleet is the "one-of-a-kind" 15,000 gallon Jet Refueler, which was built by SkyMark Refuelers, and Engine and Accessories Manufacturing (EAM).
SkyMark produces the only rigid refueler tanker of that type in the world.
The leased Jet Refueler, which arrived at SCLA this week, was the largest of 10 new tankers that have come to the High Desert via World Fuel Services since April, Mohror said.
